      A book about Jeremy Corbyn and radical politics; a novel about the Dublin labour movement in the 1930s; the autobiography of Sean O’Casey; an Italian novel set in Modena in 1860; a manual on how to fly microlights.

      I’m currently reading a book on how materials are being developed to mimic properties found in nature called “The Gecko’s Foot” by Peter Forbes. It describes how things like Velcro and self-cleaning glass have been inspired by things in nature, and how similar properties are being developed for the future.
