• Question: What advice would you give to less experienced engineers, so that they could reach their full potential in the subject in engineering that they chose?

      I would advise them to find a mentor who can guide them in their development. This should be someone independent of their direct line of management, who knows how their company works, knows the ways of the internal politics, and someone who can help with the issues other than those directly related to the technical side of the job. The technical side is always what people concentrate on, but it is usually the non technical parts like dealing with people that young engineers struggle with.
