• Question: If you could go back in time and help any engineer to make his invention better so that it would affect the lives of people, who and what would it be and why?

      thing is, if you go back and make all inventions perfect then a lot of stuff wouldn’t have been invented. If the horse and cart was perfect and everything people wanted, then the car wouldn’t have been invented. I think the imperfections we have in our designs have led to other great things being made out of necessity.

      It would probably be the inventor of something that had failed disastrously such as the Titanic. We now understand much better about how to design things and the materials that they are made of, so we could prevent those disasters from happening. However, it’s usually because of disasters that we find out about these things, so if we didn’t have problems, we wouldn’t have reason to research and investigate and expand our knowledge
