• Question: Does the RCS on a space shuttle require a special type of fuel, or does it get it from the main fuel tank (rocket fuel)?

      It would use a different tank as it would use a different type of fuel. Reaction control uses a type of thruster called cold gas, it has a low thrust and Isp but allows for fine control. Using the rocket fuel would be like trying to hit a nail into wood using a truck
